VISION 2020 DESIGN COMPETITION

Pacific Shades was the recipient of two awards in this year’s VISION Design & Workroom Competition Awards. 1st place in Top Treatments and 2nd place in Commercial Projects. The awards, presented by Windows Fashion VISION magazine, recognizes window treatment workrooms and interior designers who submit the best draperies, top treatments, shade installations and other window fashions in a variety of categories. This one-of-a-kind international competition is the “Academy Awards” of the window covering industry.

“It’s a real honor to recognize the hardworking people who contribute so much to our small but mighty industry,” said Sophia Bennett, editor-in-chief of Window Fashion VISION. “Every year we’re amazed by the quality and creativity of the entries we receive, and this year was no different. Window fashions are an important but often overlooked component to interior design, and it’s also our pleasure to draw attention to the beauty and functionality window treatments can bring to homes and businesses.”

This year’s awards were presented in a virtual ceremony on June 24. Awardees will have their work published in the July + August and September + October issue of Window Fashion VISION.

VISION 2019 DESIGN COMPETITION
Pacific Shades has been awarded 2nd place for Motorized Window Fashions and Design at this years International Window Covering Expo (IWCE). The event, held in Nashville, TN recognized around two dozen artists from around the country. They are being featured in VISION Window Fashion Magazine May/June issue. Vision magazine has offered 32 years of window treatment inspiration.
